ATELIER

Objects begin with material, instinct and the hand.

02THE FOUNDER

CREATED
BY LILY

Lumèa Atelier is an independent jewellery project founded and designed by Lily.

What began as an attraction to unusual materials gradually became a language of its own — a way of bringing together objects that would not normally belong beside one another and allowing them to find a new balance on the body.

The work is intuitive and deeply personal. Colour, weight, texture and movement often guide a piece before its final form is known. An irregular pearl, a fragment of stone, a piece of wood or ceramic can become the point from which an entire object — sometimes an entire collection — begins.

Lumèa is not built around perfect repetition. It is built around character.

03BY HAND

EVERY STORY
BEGINS BY HAND

Every Lumèa object is assembled by hand in the atelier. The process is slow, tactile and often experimental: materials are placed, moved, removed and returned until proportion begins to feel right.

There is no interest in making natural materials look perfectly identical. Their irregularities are part of the composition. Freshwater pearls keep their individual shapes; stones carry their own markings; wood, shell and coral retain traces of where they came from.

Metal introduces structure. Soft cords create movement. Ceramic and found-looking elements interrupt expectation.

The final piece emerges from the relationship between them.

04MATERIAL LANGUAGE

MATERIAL IS NEVER
JUST DECORATION

Freshwater pearls, natural stones, shell, coral, fossilised material, wood, ceramic, glass, cord and stainless steel appear throughout the Lumèa collections.

They are chosen less for conventional preciousness than for what they bring to an object: translucency, weight, imperfection, colour, reflection or texture.

A polished steel surface can sit beside something raw. A pearl can meet wood. A fossil can become an everyday pendant. Something fragile can be given an architectural structure.

These contrasts are part of the identity of Lumèa Atelier.

05FROM MATERIAL TO OBJECT

FROM MATERIAL
TO OBJECT

Sometimes the process begins with an idea.
Sometimes it begins with a single colour, stone or unexpected object.

The rest is a conversation between materials.

06FOUR WORLDS

PEARL. TIDE.
TERRA. ESSENTIALS.

Four collections, each with its own material vocabulary and atmosphere.

Pearl explores light and softness. Tide carries colour and movement. Terra moves toward stone, wood and the raw. Essentials reduces the language to objects made to live close to the body.

Different worlds. One language.
